*** Scene opens at ROF headquarters. New GM Gorilla Barone has scheduled a press conference. Reporters from several media outlets are gathered around a podium with the ROF logo on it. Tony "Gorilla" Barone, the new GM of the ROF enters the room. Wearing a dark blue suit and smoking a cigar, he walks up to the podium...
BARONE: Before I get started. I would just like to say what an honor it is to be a part of the Ring of Fire. I've been in this business for over thirty years. And the ROF is one of the best ran, with one of the most talented rosters that I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. Now... Let's move on. Last night's PPV was a huge success. Discipline Breakdown was viewed in over 23 million homes, worldwide. This was a 7 percent increase over last months Hell on Earth PPV. And we anticipate that there will be an even greater buy rate for next month. Now, issue two... Aaron Steel and Ryan Bishop are no longer with the company. Both men were on short term contracts that lasted up to the PPV. Aaron Steel was offered a long term contract this morning, but he respectfully declined. We here at the ROF wish both men luck and much success in thier future endeavors.
Now before I go, I will field a couple of questions... You
REPORTER: What are the conditions of Alfonso Sharp and Nick Victory? And will they be appearing at the next Mayhem?
BARONE: Mr. Victory was released last night from Mercy Medical center. He has to stay off his feet for a couple of days, he should be fine. Mr. Sharp was kept over night for observation. He had no internal injuries and his cat scan came back ok. I fully expect both men to be at Mayhem. That's all the time I have right now(looking at his watch) So, ladies and gentlemen, thank you
The scene ends with Barone exiting the room as the reporters continue to shout out questions
